Newmindspace - Blanket Forts / 2.27.2010

Stay up past your bedtime with Newmindspace in our sprawling, cozy fortresses made of blankets and pillows. Explore the labyrinthine complex of themed, soft forts installed inside a 2000 square-foot private loft in Brooklyn. Enjoy midnight snacks from the kitchen fort, smoothies, hot cocoa and other delicious beverages. Bring a teddy bear and blanket or cuddle with one of ours. Pajamas and bath robes welcome. This is meant to be an intimate, wondrous evening among friends and friends of friends, as well as a fundraiser for our free, outdoor public events in 2010.

The fort will be open on Saturday, February 27th 2010 from 11:30 PM until 6 AM. The location will be e-mailed to everybody who purchases advance tickets.

This event is strictly limited to 200 people, and will probably sell out. Tickets are $15 for this very special evening. All proceeds will support our free, fun, all-ages public events in 2010. After you purchase tickets, your name will be placed on the guest list and the address will be e-mailed to you closer to the event. All guests must arrive with the purchaser.

I love that you guys come up with ideas like this! I was looking at all the events you guys have done in the past and omg I am like so amped to be on this mailing list. It was like I couldn't look at one of those events and think to myself "I would never do that." Every single one of them I was thinking "Omg! I am so in that if they do it again!" :-D

Anyone without a Credit Card

To anyone without a credit card, who still wants to get tickets. I would suggest buying a Pre-Paid Credit card, and use that to purchase your tickets online. You can get a pre-paid credit card at almost any super market or pharmacy. For example, CVS sells the Green Dot card which can be used. You buy it, and put money on it, right in the store with cash.
