People photographing people photographing people. All you need is a camera.
Meet at South Street Seaport with a camera at 4 PM on September 19th, 2009 and start snapping away. Costumes optional :)
Afterward, upload the photos on Flickr and add the link to this page. That's it!
More about this event: We love the art of photography. It captures beautiful moments in time, and often the camera captures more than we experienced at our own events.
Many have commented over the years that it seems like there are just as many photographers at our events as participants, and while this is not literally true, it can seem that way sometimes.
So we decided to hold an event that skips the foreplay and goes straight to the photos. People photographing people photographing people.
There is no real winner in this game, except perhaps those lucky souls who seem to make it into every photo. A costumer's paradise. Or perhaps an exhibitionist's?
We will link up some scripts on our site for you to automatically add your photos and Flickr feeds instantly in the oversharing tradition of Now :) All you need is a camera.
I love that, brilliant!

Let me know if you were in the shots!
Was a great time, especially once we really got started. If you have pix of a guy with a red messenger back and duo-tone black/white tee, that's me!
