Feathers fly and teddies soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a soft pillow at 3 PM and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!

Rules: Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and fun pillow fight for everybody!
+ Soft pillows only!
+ Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once.
+ Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras.
+ Remove glasses beforehand!
+ Wait until the signal to begin.
+ Spectators welcome, but consider bringing a pillow ;)
Cleanup: We will be performing an intensive cleanup operation after this event, with a Leave No Trace ideal in mind. If you would like to volunteer for the cleanup, sign up on the wiki :)
Environmental statement: You do not need to buy a new pillow for this event. Feather pillows need to be replaced every 12 months anyway, and if you are looking to switch to synthetic (or if you have some old pillows lying around) this is a perfect way to get rid of them! You can keep your synthetic pillows clean by using two pillow cases.
Vegan feathers: To make vegan "feathers", grab 4 meters of long, white fun fur. Cut the sheet into 1"x1" squares and place them in a pillow case along with any loose strands. You're set! Keep in mind, this method is animal-friendly but less biodegradable.

Is there any sort of group of people designated to cleaning up this event afterwards? I saw aftermath photos of a watergun fight in the UK organised in this method and the results was davastating to the once lovely little park. |
